Pilots

The methodology to be followed during the IDEAL pilots is a distinctive five-step deliberative process that involves the formation of spaces for interaction and deliberation amongst participants, with the ultimate aim of actioning the outputs of these discussions in local, national, and European contexts.

This pilot will focus on enhancing the political participation of individuals with visual impairments
together with removing barriers to their understanding of European values.

This pilot will focus on Arabic-speaking refugees, looking at their exclusion from local democracy processes owing to their lack of fluency in the local language (in this case, French).

This pilot will focus on migrant women of varying ages who are native speakers of Dari/Farsi and find it difficult to participate in Austrian society and European democracy.
